July 4th Festivities in Arizona

It may be hot here, but we’re a tough breed. This 4th of July, there is no shortage of events all over the Valley and all over the state. Here’s a list of 2015 Independence Day celebrations in Arizona.

Glendale

Westgate plays host to Firework Fest, which includes live music, beer gardens, a classic car show and more. The festivities start at 5 pm and the fireworks shoot off at 9pm! For more info, go to westgateaz.com.

Phoenix
The Freedom Wireless Fabulous Phoenix Fourth will take place at Steele Indian School Park this year and will feature two stages of live music, classic car show, a “Splash Zone” to help you and the kids cool off and over 50 vendor booths. The show goes from 6-10pm and the fireworks launch at 9:30.

Tempe
tempe fourth of julyThe Tempe Town Lake Festival at Tempe Beach Park will host live music, great food, relay races and an inflatable village. Tickets for the event are $8 at the gate and your kids that are 12 and under get in free. The gates open at 5 and the lawn seating is first come, first served. Go to tempe4th.com to learn more.

Scottsdale
4th of July at WestWorld Food, Music, Radio Disney Junior and a Fireworks Show around 9pm! North Hall of WestWorld, 2-9:30pm, tickets $15 at door, kids 6 and under are free, call 866.977.6849. scottsdale_fourth

Tucson
The official city fireworks show takes place at “A” mountain, just west of downtown. Head down early to enjoy entertainment and vendors at the Tucson Convention Center. Fireworks start at 9:15.

Prescott
If you’re headed north to cool down for the big day, check out the largest fireworks show in the Quad-City area. Activities also include zip-lining, water slides, climbing walls and much more. The Carnival starts at noon ending with the fireworks show. Find more info at prescott-az.gov
