Every year, the Desert Botanical Garden puts on a light show called Las Noches de las Luminarias. This special holiday event will run from November 27th until December 31st from 5:30 until 9:30pm.
This nighttime event features over 8,000 hand-lit luminaria bags and thousands of white twinkle lights. The lights are setup throughout the garden alongside Bruce Munro’s outdoor exhibition. Visitors are welcome to roam the garden, observing the art, listening to Mariachi music, admiring the lights, and viewing the botany with a warm cup of cider to keep them warm.
In addition to the beauty of the lights and plants, there will also be live music nightly and plenty of food and beverage options.
The entertainment schedule changes depending on the night, so it is advised to plan ahead for which entertainment you’d enjoy most. The schedule can be found on the Desert Botanical Garden’s website.
Also worth noting, December 3-6 are member’s only nights, so be sure to plan your visit around those dates, unless of course, you’re a member.
Tickets for this nightly event are only $25 for adults, and $10 for children 3-12, making it an affordable holiday night out for the whole family.
