New Year’s Events Around the Valley

New Year’s Eve is one of the most exciting nights of the year. It is a chance to dress up, go out, unwind, and let the stresses of the previous year melt away into the night. We have some pretty amazing New Year’s Eve events going on around the valley this year. Here are some of the most recommended New Year’s events going on in Tempe, Chandler, and Phoenix.

Tempe: Circle K New Year’s Eve Block Party
The block party on Mill Ave returns this year, yet again. It’s one of the better-known NYE events around the valley, and it never disappoints. This year, the 2016 bash will feature 18 open bars, 2 stages, food trucks, DJ’s, fireworks, and a midnight confetti blast. There’s also amazing performers like Chase Rice.

Chandler: Rawhide
new years eve fireworksThis year, Rawhide returns with their 2-night New Year’s Eve party. At this 18+ event, attendees will have a chance to dance out their 2015 problems while they ring in the new year. The event will take place on December 30-31st from 6pm-3am. The night is officially called Decadence, so you know it’ll be a good time. Performers ODESZA, Pretty Lights, and Borgore have already been announced, and there are more to come.

Phoenix: Crescent Ballroom
Crescent Ballroom is shutting down 2nd Avenue to host their biggest New Year’s Eve Ball ever. Pickster and Sean Watson are set to perform. There will be tents set up and a full bar. The best part: tickets are only $5. What more could you need?

For the whole family:

Phoenix: Phoenix Zoo’s Noon Year’s Eve
Phoenix Zoo puts on a great event every year that allows kids to experience the fun of New Year’s without having to keep them up all night. Noon Year’s Eve takes place on December 31 from 9am-12pm. It features huge piles of snow, music, dancing, games, prizes, and other activities. There’s even a cider or juice toast to the “New Year” at noon.

Tempe: Main Event New Year’s
Main Event hosts an all-you-can-play night with three different time slots available: 4pm-8pm, 8pm-1am, or New Year’s Day 11am-3pm. Adults will pay $25-$30 and kids cost $20-$25, which includes all you can play bowling, laser tag, billiards, and gravity ropes course. This is a fun way to ring in the new year and treat the kids to an exciting night.
