Looking for something fun and free to do in the East Valley? We’ve got you covered! The Mesa Arts and Crafts Festival (MACFest) is back in season and bringing unique art, music and activities back to downtown Mesa. Here’s when and where you can get in on the action.
A Mesa Arts and Crafts Destination.
The festivities take place every first and third Saturday of the month and the 2015-2016 season will run from October through April for a total of 14 chances to take in the local culture. Event hours run rain or shine from 10 am to 4 pm, and include live music and dancing, food vendors, and of course, the artists and craftsmen who call the East Valley home. MACFest is also the perfect place to find that unique gift for the unique persons in your life, whether it’s jewelry, pottery, hand-knitted clothing or even refrigerator magnets!
While you’re downtown, be sure to check out several of the surrounding local businesses, including restaurants, coffee shops and vintage stores that provide a classic Main Street feel to the Mesa community. More Than Just a Festival.
The 8th season of the MACfest is in full effect, bringing arts and crafts to the residents of Mesa and surrounding areas. The mission of MACfest is to provide an environment that encourages the economic and artistic growth of emerging and established artists and crafters while revitalizing downtown Mesa and building a sense of community. Thanks to MACfest and other organizations, downtown Mesa has become a destination for arts and culture. If you’re an artist wanting to participate in the event, or if you’d like to volunteer and get involved, go to http://www.macfestmesa.com/. We’ll see you downtown!
